The “Pilgrim’s Rest” is a purpose-built nursing home in the neighbouring parish of Kilmeena, for those who don't need to be in hospital but who require a level of care that cannot be provided in their own homes.

To facilitate prayer and reflection a prayer room is provided where regular religious services are held, and the local parish priest celebrates the Sacrament of the Sick for the residents on a monthly basis.
