St. Joseph’s National School St. Joseph’s N.S. Brackloon,Westport, is a catholic co-educational primary school situated about 4.5 miles SW of Westport town on the edge of Brackloon Woods. The school was built in 1849 and has enjoyed a long tradition of quality education and great support from the local community. The number of pupils at St. Joseph’s N.S. has continued to rise over the years and in 2005 it became a three teacher school.
The staff at St. Joseph’s N.S. are very committed to the holistic development of each individual child and they are fully supported in their work by the Board of Management, Home/School Association, Parent body and the local community.
