The Season of Lent offers us the opportunity to grow in faith, hope and love as we prepare to worthily celebrate Christ's resurrection at Easter. Lent is a time for reflection, prayer and renewal - a  time to grow in our relationship with Christ and one another. On this page you will find some information on how you can enter more fully into this Lenten season.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 

The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed Monday to Friday between 5pm and 7:30pm in St. Mary's for private adoration.

Stations of the Cross

Please join in praying the Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent at 3pm. (Facebook/Youtube/Churchtv/Radio)

Lenten Devotions

Each week day at 3pm there will be guided prayer and reflection led by a member of the parish team. (facebook/Youtube)

 

A Journey Through Lent

The Westport Alpha team invites you to join them for a journey through Lent this year. The series begins on Ash Wednesday, 17th Feb at 8pm and continues each successive Wednesday to 24th March. Each presentation is on the theme of conversion and will focus on the lives of six biblical characters. The Zoom film presentation, featuring Bishop Robert Barron, will be followed by open discussion, reflection and prayer. You are most welcome to join for one or all of the sessions. (Zoom).
