The pilgrimage to the top is a literal and figurative representation of life. At times the views are breathtaking and the walk is easy. Other moments are less than pleasant, with changing difficulty and sudden storms, mirroring our fragile existence and troubles. We can only truly prepare ourselves for all the possible hazards and hardships of the journey through trust in God. All other precautions avail us nothing in comparison.
