The Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is scheduled to visit Ireland as part of an official trip
Following his stops in Dublin, Prime Minister Carney will fly to Ireland West Airport, Knock and meet with President Catherine Connolly at Westport House He will also attend Sunday Mass in Aughagower. This marks the first official visit to Mayo by a Canadian prime minister—a meaningful stop for Prime Minister Carney, whose grandfather came from the Townland of Ayle and his grandmother came fron the townland of Aughagower.
We wish him and his family a happy and safe visit to his ancestral home in Mayo
