ON BEHALF OF WESTPORT PARISH

"Fr. Britus, thank you for your ministry with us here in Westport Parish. Thank you for the care, patience, gentleness and kindness you've shown to so many people in so many different ways. We especially thank you for your celebration of mass here in St Mary’s, Drummin and the McBride Home as well as all your chaplaincy support in the Sacred Heart Secondary School and Carraholly N.S. Thank you for your encouragement and the way you have helped us all to grow in faith. All of us will be ever grateful to you. And that is why we will truly miss your presence in our local community.

As you begin your new parish appointment as Parish Priest of Rounfort, Robeen  and Carras, we offer you our heartfelt good wishes. May the Lord continue to guide you, bless your work, and give you joy in serving a new community. May your efforts bear abundant fruit and may you find welcome, support and happiness in your new assignment.

Please be assured of our prayers for you, and we ask God to continue to strengthen you with wisdom and grace. Beannaigh thú, go neírí leath slán agus beannacht"

Fr. John Kenny Adm Westport, on the occasion of Fr. Britus taking up his new assignment.
