CROAGH PATRICK PILGRIMAGE AND WORLD DAY FOR GRANDPARENTS AND THE ELDERLY: July 24th,25th, 26th

Garland Friday 24th Local Pilgrimage

Mass on Summit 10.00am. with Fr Tod Nolan P.P.

CHARITY WALK ON CLARE ISLAND:

The 2026 Kathleen Conneely Memorial Island Charity Walk on Clare Island is on Sat, July 20th in aid of The Irish Cancer Society and Pancreatic Cancer Ireland. ST. MARY’S CHURCH WESTPORT:

Many thanks to Michael McConnell and Cormac McNamee (Moran Electrical), and to Fintan Higgins (Sound Engineer) for installation of our new sound and Loop System in St Mary’s Church Westport.

 

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH FETE IN WESTPORT:

Saturday 18th July from 12pm to 3pm in the Church Grounds. Admission Free. Fun for all the family.

 

HOLY COMMUNION FOR THE HOUSE BOUND:

If you would like to bring Holy Communion home to a family member, neighbour or friend you can avail of a Pyx by calling to the Sacristy or the Parish Office at the Presbytery, Westport. If anyone has finished using a Pyx please return it to the Sacristy or Parish office. Thank you.

 

MONTHLY ALZHEIMER’S ACTIVITY CLUB:

In Lough Lannagh Holiday Village Main Hall on a monthly basis on the First Thursday of the Month (2nd July) from 10.00am to 12.00pm for Activities, Games, Chat, Refreshments and Day Trips. July activity club we will be having a Chair Yoga session, All Welcome. Please

WESTPORT ECO CONGREGATION:

We are now in plastic free July and the statistics are not good news for our planet   It is estimated that 75 to 199 million tons of plastic are currently in our oceans and one million plastic bottles are purchased every minute worldwide, while up to five trillion plastic bags are used a year.  We can all play our part and this July we can make a decision to refuse plastic packaging and single use plastic where possible.  We can make a difference.
