ARCHDIOCESE OF TUAM-ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARIES:

Archbishop Francis will celebrate the Annual Diocesan Marriage Anniversaries Mass in Tuam Cathedral on Sunday, 11th October 2026, at 3.00 pm.  Couples celebrating a marriage anniversary in 2026 are warmly invited, especially those marking a significant anniversary. Refreshments will be served afterwards in St Jarlath's College.  To help with arrangements, please send the names of the couples attending and the number of family members accompanying them to [email protected] or phone 093 24250.  For catering purposes, please reply by Wednesday, 7th October.

REMINDER OF CHILDREN’S ROSARY:

MONTHLY ALZHEIMER’S ACTIVITY CLUB:

In Lough Lannagh Holiday Village Main Hall on a monthly basis on the (First Thursday of the Month) from 10.00am to 12.00pm for Activities, Games, Chat, Refreshments and Day Trips. Sept activity club we will be having a Chair Yoga session, All Welcome. Ph Marie on 087 170 8706

MALL RIVER ECO CLEAN COUNTINUES:

WESTPORT ECO CONGREGATION:

Inviting us to reflect……The Season of Creation calls us to immerse ourselves in the LIVING WATER within us – we are invited to step spiritually into God’s “river of life” trusting in grace rather than self-sufficiency. Let this shape our daily habits – think for a moment about the water in your own life – the rain, the rivers, the oceans, the water we drink, the water that nourishes the food on our tables and sustains forests, animals and entire communities. What an extraordinary gift we have been given!  Ezekiel describes water flowing from the sanctuary and transforming everything it touches “where the river flows everything will live, waters become fresh, living creatures flourish, trees grow and bear fruit, and their leaves bring healing”.

What if this could also describe our presence in the world?

MEN OF ST JOSEPH:

Tuam Archdiocese Men of St Joseph meeting on Sunday 20th September @ 7pm in the Tuam Parish centre, H54 T656. The guest speaker is actor, director, and podcaster John Connors. MOSJ is a group for men of all ages and backgrounds basing our gatherings on Faith, Formation and Fraternity. New members are always welcome.

CREATION PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT:

Come, O Holy Breath of God, poured out ‘in the

beginning ‘be with us at this time of a climate emergency and an ever-increasing loss of biodiversity.

Over the aeons the Spirit of God empowered the universe to emerge,

enabled biological evolution to take place,

and inspired the unique advent of the human

endowed with the gift of reflective self-

consciousness.

The same Spirit of God authored the Incarnation

of the eternal Word of God in Jesus of Nazareth,

animated His disciples to go forth,

and established a new ecclesial community on the

day of Pentecost.

Be with us once again,

as You were in the past,

to heal our broken universe

so that we can see the face of the Creator God

in the wonders of creation.  Amen.

Thank you for supporting our recent appeal for victims of the floods in Nepal.  €715 was raised.
