A PRAYER FOR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CHILDREN:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of this special celebration, when these children receive Jesus in Holy Communion. Bless them with your love, grace, and peace. Fill their hearts with joy and gratitude. May they always feel close to Jesus, who loves them so completely and unconditionally. Help them to grow in faith, hope and love. Guide them to live as true disciples of your son. Bless their families, teachers, and all who support them, so that they may nurture their faith and encourage their spiritual journey. May their First Holy Communion be the start of a lifelong friendship with Jesus. May they always cherish his presence in their lives. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.
