ECCUMENICAL PRAYER SERVICE AT HOLY TRINITY:

The Year of 2025 marks the 1,700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council. This commemoration provides a unique opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the common faith of Christians as expressed in the Creed formulated at that Council. The Ecumenical Prayer service is an invitation to draw on this common heritage and to enter more deeply into the faith that unites all Christians. We are invited to take part at Holy Trinity Church on Wed. 29th Jan. at 10.30a.m. Light refreshments will be served afterwards at Ecumenical Elevenses.

HEAVENLY FATHER: We come before You with hearts united in love and faith. We pray for the strength to overcome divisions and embrace our shared belief in Your Son, Jesus Christ. May Your Spirit guide us to foster understanding, compassion, and collaboration among all believers. Help us to reflect Your light in our communities and work together for Your glory. Grant us the grace to strive for unity, so that the world may see our love for one another and recognize us as Your children. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
