CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION:

This weekend is the Feast of Corpus Christi, weather permitting there will be a procession in Westport after the 11.00a.m. Sunday Mass. All the First Holy Communion classes in the area are invited to take part leading the Procession as part of their Grow in Love Mass. This year the procession will finish with Benediction at the Mc Bride Community Nursing Unit, on the green at St. Mary’s Crescent.

THE JUBILEE YEAR:

Pilgrims of hope Croagh Patrick Exhibition will be in the Town Hall Theatre Westport during the month of July. (More details next week)

 

JUBILEE YEAR PILGRIMS OF HOPE 2025:

Please visit the Display at the back of the Church in St. Mary’s to see details of this Year’s Pilgrim Passport collaboration between Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg & Knock Shrine. You can also see details of the work done on the path on the Reek as well as other information about the Croagh Patrick Pilgrimage.

 

 BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP:

MAYO COPD:

Mayo copd support group meeting will be held on Thursday June 26th at 2 30pm in the Tennis club Lannagh Rd Castlebar. 

Guest speaker, A Hospital pharmacist.

MALL RIVER:

The Friends of the Mall River are inviting volunteers to join with them this Monday evening from 7pm opposite the Garda Station to clean the river.

The Mall River is of enormous importance to the very fabric of the community and employment. Volunteers are requested to bring waders, rakes and any garden implements to help in the yearly clean up. Your river needs your help.

At 6.00p.m.  It runs until July 26th.
