A SPECIAL WEEKEND OF SACRED MUSIC, 24th-26th OCTOBER IN:ST MARY’S CHURCH WESTPORT:The Choir of St Philip's and Sandford, Dublin, led by Mr David O'Shea, will be visiting Westport for a series of musical events including, Compline on Friday 24 Oct at 8pm. In St. Mary’s Church, Westport Fundraising concert for Holy Trinity Church on Sat 25 Oct at 4pm -in St. Mary’s Church Westport.

St Mary's Youth Hub - Fun, food and a sprinkling of faith! Do you have a teenager at home, whom you would like to be nurtured gently in the faith, in a warm, welcoming environment? Why not nudge them along to "Come and See" in our cozy, hang out space, upstairs in the Loft at the Parish centre, every Friday from 4 to 6 pm. Please ring 087 6949924 if you'd like to know more.
MEN OF ST JOSEPH:
The next monthly meeting of the Tuam Men of St Joseph group will take place on Sunday 26th at 7pm in the Blessed Sacrament chapel Tuam. This month’s guest speaker will be Prof Robert McNamara who will speak about men's role in the family and society.
MOSJ was established to promote Faith, Formation and Fraternity among Christian men in the Archdiocese of Tuam.
COMHALTAS CEOLTÓIRI EIREANN:
This year’s AGM on Monday 27th October at 8pm in Knockranny House Hotel. All those parents of children involved and other interested parties are invited attend.
WORKSHOP ON LOSS & GRIEF:

This workshop will be facilitated by Grief Counsellor & Psychotherapist Tereasa McGuire.

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR:
Starting in St. Patrick's Church Aghagower on Sunday November 2nd at 7 pm. The seminars run for 7 consecutive Sundays and last 1.5 -2 hrs. Different speakers each week and different theme. All adults and teenagers over 14 are very welcome. Only requirement is the desire for a deeper love and knowledge of Christ. For more information, please contact

HALLOWEEN, EVE OF ALL HALLOWS OCT 31ST AND NOV 1ST ALL SAINTS DAY:
During this week I reminded Primary and Secondary School Students that our Mid-Term Holidays have a special Holy Day. While it’s good fun to have a celebration of Halloween with dressing up and “Trick or Treating” etc. Let’s not forget all the Saints that we celebrate too. The famous ones and the not so famous ones that we have known ourselves. Family relations, friends and neighbours, may they rest in Peace Amen.
NOVEMBER A TIME TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO HAVE DIED: The November Prayer space will be in each church during the month of November.
A PLENARY INDULGENCE: Can be gained for the Holy Souls on the 2nd Nov. by visiting a church and on any day visiting a cemetery from the 1st to 8th Nov. The usual conditions apply of Confessions Holy Communion, prayer for the Pope’s intentions and one Our Father and Apostles Creed.
